Associated Text Facility

Overview

The Associated Text facility provides a way to associate the contents of a text or HTML file with an image. A link to a page containing the text is placed beneath the image or the text is inserted beneath the image. A common use is to enter a transcription of a scanned document.

A text or HTML file will be associated with an image file if:

1. The text or HTML file has the same name as the image file.
2. The text or HTML file is in the same folder as the image file.
3. The text or HTML file has a file extension of "txt", "htm", or "html".
